3 Ways to Set Square Cabochons: A Silversmithing Tip

This tip shows how to make 3 different mountings for square or squarish stones that aren't standard bezels. There are tons of variations possibilities with these, so have fun experimenting! I would categorize these as intermediate level. The materials for these can vary, but for these ones, I used 26 gauge sterling sheet, 22 gauge sterling sheet, 26 gauge sterling sheet, 22 gauge sterling wire 16 gauge sterling round wire wire, 14 gauge sterling square wire, 14 gauge sterling round wire. As always, I use hard silver sheet solder and My-T-Flux from Rio Grande.
