From September 2nd - September 9th, 2021 the Back to the Future Time Machine "Hero / A " Car was on display at the National Mall courtesy of the Hagerty Drivers Foundation. It was on loan from the Petersen Automobile Museum in California and is now an archived and registered vehicle with the National Archives. This is the actual car used for exterior shots for the original movie Back to the Future released in 1985.
