Installing Helix Fish Finder On Kayak Predator PDL 2020 Model

Step by step instructions for installing a fish finder on an Old Town Predator PDL (http://bit.ly/predatorpdl_radreeling) kayak, 2020 model. This installation is of the Helix 5 model using the Wilderness Systems through hull wiring kit and Ram Mount.

IMPORTANT! Please review your Old Town warranty before drilling any holes in your kayak.

Preparing and installing the Helix fish finder on the Predator PDL kayak using the through hull wiring kit took about two hours total. I made it very clear in the video about the dangers of running the wires for the transducer and power supply over the lip of the front hatch cover on the kayak. In giving this warning I also included a video clip of water that got into the hull of the Predator PDL due to the seal on the hatch being compromised by the wires.
