Continuing my skew chisel series, in this video I show how to cut a pommel - the transition from square section to turned that is commonly found on table legs and stair spindles. There are several styles that I cover in this video, including a couple that are best done with a spindle gouge (Shock! I use other tools as well as a skew!!)
