Summary Shows a geological survey in rain forest conditions on Bougainville Island, New Guinea and explains its work. After valuable minerals are shown to be in an area it is surveyed in more detail, and drilling to test sites for mining is done. Explains the benefits to be expected by the native people from a new copper mining industry.
