On May 11, 2024, The Cabaret had the privilege of hosting what would become Gavin Creel’s last-ever solo show — an evening filled with his trademark warmth, talent, and heart. None of us could have known then that we were witnessing a profoundly meaningful moment, just months before his passing on September 30, following a sudden and brave battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. He was 48.

With the heartfelt encouragement and blessing of Gavin’s team, we are humbled to release some highlights from that unforgettable performance that capture his joy, generosity, and deep connection with the audience.

It is with deep love, respect, and gratitude that we share these memories with you. We hope these glimpses of Gavin’s final solo show bring comfort and joy to everyone who misses him. We certainly do.
