Michael Govan and Roni Horn | Conversations with Artists

Presented in conjunction with View From Here—an exhibition of recently acquired artworks that represent a range of generational and global perspectives—this series of intimate conversations between artists and LACMA curators and educators will explore how these artworks function historically in an encyclopedic collection, and how they provide us with a window into the challenges and joys of art making.

The fourth conversation in the series will feature CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director Michael Govan and artist Roni Horn.

Roni Horn lives and works in New York City. Her oeuvre focuses on conceptually-based photography, sculpture, books, and drawing. Recent solo exhibitions include: Tate Modern, Whitney Museum of American Art, Centre Pompidou, Kunsthalle Bregenz, Kunsthalle Hamburg, Kunsthalle Basel, Fundació Joan Miró, Barcelona, De Pont Foundation, Tilburg, Fondation Beyeler, Glenstone Museum, Potomac, MD, Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, and The Drawing Institute at The Menil Collection, Houston, TX.
