About Viktoria Mullova
Mullova first captivated the world by winning both the Sibelius and Tchaikovsky Competitions. Since then, she has performed with the greatest orchestras and conductors, appearing at major international festivals across the globe. Her interpretations of J.S. Bach are widely regarded as some of the finest ever recorded, while her genre-defying collaborations include projects with period ensembles, jazz musicians, and contemporary composers. Recent ventures include Music We Love, a duo with her son Misha Mullov-Abbado, and an interdisciplinary performance of Verklärte Nacht with the Mullova Ensemble.

About Reinis Zariņš
After studying at Yale and the Royal Academy of Music in London, Reinis returned to Latvia, where he now lives and works. He believes music is meant to be shared — whether on major stages like Carnegie Hall and the Concertgebouw, or in backyards and forests — always focusing on the listener’s experience. His programs often revolve around a central theme, guided by a personal sense of “beauty and truth.” He’s especially drawn to composers who seek to express the inexpressible, such as Bach, Messiaen, and Pärt. Reinis has performed with renowned musicians and orchestras, and frequently collaborates with Latvian composers. His recordings often highlight Latvian music, reflecting his cultural roots. He has received Latvia’s highest honors for his contributions.
