Extended Suzuki DR650 On and Off Road Test Ride (100 Miles!)

I've wanted to get my hands on a Suzuki DR650 for a test ride and review for as long as I've been riding dual sport motorcycles. The DR650 is the venerable dinosaur that truly is the grandaddy of all dual sport motorcycles. All of our modern dual sport and adventure bikes are descended from the OG DR650.

In this test ride and initial Suzuki DR650 review video, I put 100 miles on the bike through highway riding, forest roads, some OHV trails, and eventually to the top of a mountain.

Overall, my Suzuki DR650 first impressions are overwhelmingly positive. People are always asking what bike I'd choose if I could only have one ADV or dual sport motorcycle. After this DR650 test ride experience, I have to say it's pretty damn high on my list.
