How A Photoacoustic CO2 Sensor Works - Gravity: I2C SCD41 Infrared CO2 Sensor (400 - 5000 ppm)

Currently, most carbon dioxide sensors on the market are significantly large because these sensors utilize non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) gas sensing techniques.
However, it is still somewhat too bulky for a portable carbon dioxide alert device.
The innovative use of MEMS microphones for carbon dioxide detection allows for a significant reduction in the required volume of the optical chamber in the infrared absorption method.
This small photoacoustic carbon dioxide sensor provides an accuracy of ±(40 ppm + 5% MV) in the 400 - 5000 ppm measuring range.
Please note that this sensor should be kept away from vibration sources, direct sunlight, and heat sources during use.
