Title: The superfamily Sylvioidea – a tree full of surprises. I summarize some of the research I've been involved with on this large group of passerine birds. Invited plenary lecture at the 1st Asian Ornithological Conference, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nov 2021. (The video is a combination of two different prerecorded videos that were prepared for this conference [which, sadly, I could not attend in person], one that turned out to be too long for my time slot and one just fitting my time slot.)
