The Yak Jones Foundation is on a mission to revive the reading culture in Sierra Leone, one child, one book, one classroom and one community at a time. This impact video highlights our journey in improving children’s literacy, strengthening early-grade reading, and expanding access to quality reading opportunities across Sierra Leone.
Through book donations, reading clubs, school literacy partnerships, inter-school reading competitions, and community-centred education programmes, we are helping children dream bigger, read with understanding, and build the skills they need for a brighter future. Our initiatives support pupils in underserved communities, promote children’s education in Sierra Leone, and contribute to better learning outcomes nationwide.
