Recently I learned of CSX retiring the majority of the AC6000CW fleet early into 2018... With their removal from service, the days of hearing these monsters at full throttle working to move freight are likely over... And that's a shame, because nothing else in the world of dieseldom sounds like an AC6000CW... Proving that point, here is a collection of my best AC6000CW shots in order from March of 2010 through March of 2017, representing the seven years they were active between being stored through the 2008-09 recession and going into storage right as EHH took over and began storing older power... Enjoy, and look for some new footage from me in the coming weeks from 2018...
