I make liquid vanish from tiny cups, then talk about the Gamergate Hashtag and the Games Jouranlism Industry. my goal is to trigger anyone and everyone by telling the truth about the Harassment Campaign that is Gamergate, as well as the legitimate critique of Games Journalism that is ALSO named Gamer gate. Both of these groups exist, and are conflated into one BECAUSE A HASHTAG IS NOT AN ORGANIZATION. STOP ASSOCIATING YOURSELF WITH SOMETHING ANYONE CAN CO-OPT FOR THEIR OWN PURPOSES YOU NITWITS! Also, regardless of the legitimacy of the moment, I'm going to discuss why real change WILL NEVER OCCUR due to the origin of "Games Journalism" and the foundations it has, foundations that will prevent any movement from altering it. Foundations that go back before the internet was a thing. Now, sit back, relax and listen to a story about two tribes, One comprised of consumers, the other comprised of an industry of corporations with vast amounts of loyal employees behind them. The second of the two, to invoke Mark Twain, buys ink by the barrel, find that quote and understand why public perception has turned out the way it did.
