The 50 DN alternator is beefy enough to handle the charging of the 4 lithium iron phosphate house batteries. A few modifications to the system make it a viable charging device for the batteries. The test drive nearly ended in disaster when the bus pulled out infront of a car. I was not recording but we discussed the incident for several minutes during the test drive.
