From Ordinary to 70.3 | EP38: Another Holiday Week, No Excuses 13 Weeks Out

EP 38 | Turning It Up on a Holiday Week | Ironman 70.3 Training

Holiday week or not, the work still gets done. 💪

This week we turned it up over New Year’s and logged just under 7.5 hours of training for 73 total miles.

🏃‍♂️ 19 miles running
🚴‍♂️ 50+ miles on the bike
🔥 First brick workout in a while — and wow… the legs definitely felt it.

Brick workouts are officially back, and every Friday is now Brick Day. No excuses, just consistency.

One of the coolest moments this week was looking back at the start of this journey. In the first 7 weeks of training, I ran a total of 17 miles. This week alone? 19 miles.

Progress like that is exactly why I document this journey.
