This video goes over Reverse DNS Configuration. I went over the DNS reverse lookup and reverse DNS setups in great detail.

There are two types of DNS zones: forward zone and reverse zone. During domain hosting, we were required to produce zone files on the DNS server, and we did so on the Primary or Master DNS server, not the Secondary or Caching DNS server. For a name to IP mapping, a forward zone file is created, and for IP to name mapping, a reverse zone file is created. The forward zone file is necessary to host a domain's DNS records. The reverse zone is unique in that it cannot be hosted by a regular DNS server; the reverse zone can only be created by the IP subnet owner organization. A reverse DNS query is used to find a hostname from an IP address in the Reverse zone. A forward query, on the other hand, is a method of getting an IP address from a hostname by querying the forward zone file. In this video, I go over the reverse DNS and Reverse zone in-depth and put the Reverse DNS to the test with various reverse lookup queries.
