Cuban Heels is a Dutch garageblues band with a groovy and swampy sound, inspired by the Black Keys, Tom Waits and the North Mississippi All Stars. The sensational live band released their latest album 'Gritbag' in 2011, but no worries: the story continues.

Cuban Heels is de afgelopen jaren uitgegroeid tot een ware sensatie in het live circuit in Europa. Met imponerende optredens op festivals als North Sea Jazz, Bospop, Moulin Blues, Belgian Rhythm & Blues Festival, Dijkpop, Bluesfestival Antwerpen en talloze clubs in Nederland, België en Frankrijk bewezen zij hun kracht als een van de beste live bluesbands. De band stopte in 2010 maar pakte tot grote vreugde van de fans de draad weer op.
Alles leek op z'n plaats te vallen toen Mischa den Haring de gitaar overnam van Rico Gerfen. Met deze doorstart blijft het garageblues monster bestaan en is het levendiger dan ooit. Cuban Heels blijft een unieke band in de Nederlandse bluesscene!
