Saturday the 26th a rather large team from Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery spent the day in a deep valley along Switzerland Trail pulling a TJ back onto its wheels, and the trail.
The driver and passenger suffered injuries in this accident, driver/owner ended up with a broken back and was not on scene with us today as we worked.
It was a long day of working in the rain to rig the pulls to get it up the hill, and it took a few re-riggings to get the lines to cooperate with each other. But once on the road, we were able to drive it out under its own power! (vs flat tow it out)
About 10 minutes after arriving in the parking lot/trail head the tow truck showed up and scooped it up to get off the mountain. Impeccable timing!
