With no known motive, a man who has been charged with mischief after allegedly targeting a Victoria, B.C. restaurant twice on Wednesday is back on the streets Thursday night.
Police officers were called to Ocean Garden Restaurant around 8:30 a.m. after a man broke through the front door. He then proceeded to steal the restaurant's crabs, according to a post made by the owner on social media.
He was arrested a short time later but was released, and allegedly went back to the restaurant, set off a smoke grenade inside, and was eventually arrested a second time.
As Kylie Stanton reports, it has some asking why he was released yet again.
