A big fish in a cold place - Giant Halibut in Arctic Norway Spearfishing

Last year I was making a TV programme in Arctic Norway and had a free afternoon to do some of my own spearfishing. I was lucky enough to come across my biggest ever fish, an Atlantic halibut around 100kg. You can watch the series I made on myoutdoortv.com and sign up for a free trial. The size limit for halibut in Norway is 80cm minimum and 200cm maximum. This fish was within those limits and legal. We ate the fish and it was sensational!
