Double Dressage Disaster In The Grand Prix For Diane Creech & Kevin Kohmann

We are back in action for the 2022 season in Wellington, Florida and this year we are going to get even more opinionated and have a lot more fun here on Dressage Hub.

Yesterday the grand prix had double the fun with a double dressage disaster, so let's take a look at what happened.

Kevin Kohmann kicks off the season with a similar dressage disaster to the video we made of him in Ocala for the Grand Prix Dressage test. In that video we highlighted that the judges really had no idea how to score the disaster and that led to an interesting discussing as to what the judges are looking at and how the deductions were made. In that test it was the first CDI Grand Prix for Kevin Kohmann which we were happy to see, even if he does have a few kinks to work out.

Fast forward to this week and he is struggling with a similar issue and again we see some interesting variances in the judging, specifically FEI Judge Janet Foy, who tends to be in the hot seat more often than not here at Dressage Hub. So take a look and let me know what you think of the scores.

Next, we catch up with Canadian Diane Creech who had a mishap on the final centerline of her test. As we take a look at the scores for this line of the test we see the scores vary from 3-7 for the passage but they are 4's across the board for the piaffe.
