This video was taken by the late Nigel Lawrence who had joined my annual tour group to Java in 1999. It shows action at Trangkil which was probably the most reliable in Java for producing field trains. As late as 1999, my tour group saw all 4 of their locomotives in action and these are shown in turn with a couple of double headers thrown in at the end - in the last one, 4 had detached itself and run ahead near the mill ass it was short of water!. In the best traditions of Alfred Hitchcock, watch out for Nigel himself appearing in his own video!.
