After a couple of failed attempts with a sketchbook I already owned I came to the conclusion it wasn't made for watercolor. In a couple of months I will go on vacation and I hope to find the time to paint on location. Therefore I decide to create my own watercolor sketchbook.

MATERIAL
--------------------------
Fabriano Watercolor Studio paper 300g - 140lbs (27 x 35 cm)
Card board (I used the top of a shoe box)
Scissors or paper cutting knife
needle and thread (make sure the thread is strong, during my first attempt the thread broke) for the stitching
twine or something similar for the spine (I don't know the name of the product I used)
liquid glue (a glue stick will not work)
your preferred decoration for the cover
