2024 BMW 530i xDrive POV Drive /// The BEST Driving Midsize Luxury Sedan?

Meet the sleek BMW 530i xDrive here with the M-Sport pack, finished in Brooklyn Grey, and with an as tested price of $73,245 (with nearly $10k in options). This is the second new 5-series reviewed here though the first gas option. (Check out my i5 M60 review) How was it? Quicker than expected, loaded with tech, supremely comfortable, efficient, and dynamic enough. But not perfect. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Highs:
We are huge fans of the unique design, @bmwusa loaned us a proper 5-series specification
The interior is fantastic, upscale, modern, and high tech, though focuses on techno-sporty more than smooth luxury like an E-Class.
+Dynamics are a highlight here along with a well composed ride and very impressive Driver Assist Pro (you can change lanes hands free by looking left or right)

Lows:
-The 8-speed gearbox was not my favorite in this application.
-Options can add up quickly
-The 540i exists

#ACNCarScore: 8/10 The new 5er is more of a baby 7 series than ever before, but it still splits the line between 3 and 7 well. The 530i is a great entry product, but we would shell out the extra cash and go straight to the B58 540i.
