Backpacking Canyonlands National Park's Taylor Canyon Zone (Nov 9&10, 2024) Solitude and Beauty

After visiting Canyonlands National Park during the winter of 2022, it has been on my list for a return visit for some backpacking or mountain biking. After we were unable get permits for the Grand Canyon, my brother Darrell and I decided to try backpacking in Utah. We had hoped to do Capital Reef and Canyonlands, but temperatures below 20F in Capital Reef made us focus on the Moab area. Our first overnight of backpacking was in the Isle in the Sky district of Canyonlands and we decided to try Taylor Canyon. Sure glad we did! It was an amazing time down in the canyons and we never saw anybody else during our two days.
