Advice for artists on Perfectionism

Perfect.... Sounds like a good thing and what an artist should strive for in their work, but in actual fact, it's so detrimental for your painting process. It's the kryptonite for your super hero of creativity. Here are 2 main areas that I find falling into the trap of perfectionism tends to creep in. The worst part about this 'perfectionism' energy is sometime you don't realize you're in it until it's to late. It can be a huge factor in painting/ artistic anxiety and is the culprit behind what makes you want to throw your painting away and take up knitting instead. Lol, icky perfectionism energy can ruin your artistic process.
I hope this video helps bring awareness to this and gives you a few tips to break out of the trap.
