Akira wants to ask Utako to the dance but he's hesitating on whether it's gonna trouble her or not. On the other side, Utako really hopes Akira will ask her out, but she's too shy to ask him first.
Suoh and Nokoru start worrying about Akira who looks all in doubt and pain.
Akira then recalled all the things and times Utako and him had been through, he finally realized his feeling and has courage to get Utako a surprise in the dance.
He dresses up as 20 masks in whom Utako fell for and hands her a birthday present. He then confesses his love to Utako.
