Visit to Palazzo Adriano, Sicily, in 1996 by Roland and Victoria DeGregorio and their sons Joe, Paul, and John to visit the home where Victoria's mother, Giuseppina Ferrara, was born in 1895. Her parents were Francesco and Concetta Canzoneri Ferrara and her siblings were Pietro, Vincenzina, Giuseppe, Bartolo, Maltilda, Nicolo, Giovanni, and Antonio Ferrara. The house was at 50/52 Via Cavour. Victoria's father, Paolo Scariano, was also born in Palazzo Adriano. Paolo and Giuseppina were married in both the Catholic and Greek Churches, shown in this video, in 1921. They immigrated to St. Louis, Missouri a few months later. The 1996 trip was for Roland and Victoria's 50th wedding anniversary. The 1990 Academy Award movie "Cinema Paradiso" was filmed in this city.
