Delicious Anjal Fish Masala Fry | Easy and Tasty Recipe
Welcome to today’s recipe – a mouthwatering Anjal Fish Masala Fry that’s crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavors!
First, we marinate fresh Anjal fish (½ kg) with Kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric, salt, egg, ginger garlic paste, and lemon juice. After a half-hour marination, the fish is shallow fried to perfection.
In the same flavorful oil, we prepare a rich masala by grinding Kashmiri chilli, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, turmeric, salt, garlic cloves, ginger, curry leaves, tomato, and water into a smooth paste. We cook the masala until aromatic and coat the fried fish, locking in all that incredible flavor!
This simple step-by-step recipe is perfect for lunch, dinner, or special gatherings.
Ingredients for Marination:
• Anjal fish – ½ kg
• Kashmiri chilli powder – 2 tbsp
• Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
• Cumin powder – ¼ tbsp
• Salt – ½ tbsp
• Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp
• Egg – 1
• Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
• Lemon juice – 1½ tbsp
Ingredients for Masala:
• Kashmiri chilli powder – 1½ tbsp
• Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
• Cumin seeds – ¼ tbsp
• Fennel seeds – ¼ tbsp
• Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp
• Salt – ¼ tbsp (plus ½ tbsp later for taste)
• Garlic cloves – 10
• Ginger – ½ inch
• Curry leaves – 8
• Tomato – ¼
• Water – ½ cup
• Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
