Food safety experts are warning against a different kind of candy. Martin Bucknavage, food safety specialist at Penn State says people need to be extremely cautious with gummies and drinks with THC. Because it is still illegal at the federal level, the FDA does not regulate these products. Bucknavage says means consumers don’t really know what they are putting in their bodies.
