Watch as we rescue marooned roughly 50 sheep on a field surrounded by flood water. The water was due to rise and cover the entire paddock in the coming days, and the SES never came to help as they advised. So we had to use some good old fashioned farm bush-mechanics to create a makeshift sheep ferry. It took us 5 trips to get them all across, and another trip to bring all the yards back.
We had yarded them the day prior, and running through a submerged paddock trying to herd sheep on foot with half-full gumboots was an exhausting experience haha. Enjoy the shenanigans we captured!
