The City’s video magazine show, Champaign Spotlight, puts the spotlight on the people, programs, and events of the City of Champaign. The latest episode features an interview with Chief of Police Timothy T. Tyler.
Chief Tyler fills in some details about his amazing career before he joined the City, including his military service where he not only served abroad to protect our country, but also the times he was able to help out in crises here at home. Then he lets us know about his law enforcement career, why he loves what he does and why other service minded people might be successful officers at the Champaign Police Department.
Chief Tyler also goes in depth about his priority of keeping the community safe through a commitment to training and community engagement.
