Fenne Lily finished up a three show Fall "residency" at Public records, after having played gigs in September and October at different venues throughout the city. We were treated to a tight set with songs old as well as a couple new ones from a forthcoming album. Fenne quipped that the songs were all recorded in studio already but for now doesn't exist outside this room. I'll probably publish the videos later next year when the album is expected to drop in the springtime. I've lost cost of how many times I've seen Fenne but outside of course the phenomenal music, she's also really funny on stage. She would introduce each band member between songs and give a random fact about each one. Unfortunately I don't have that on video so just take my word for it or go see a show of hers yourself. After the show, Fenne was nice enough to sign the tour post for me and let me take a photo of her holding the poster. The flash was quite strong and I told her that she could just look at the poster but she ended up looking and I blinded her big time, whoops.
