This experimental setup is focused on medical robotics, as missioned in identifying particular spots of the live human body in motion, in order to apply on-the-fly (literally, e.g., to be initiated by an airborne drone) medical interventions - mainly body part-aware, flying syringe style injection shots executed at otherwise hard-to-reach areas (to be demonstrated with totally harmless foam objects). In this specific implementation, I built a deep learning-based computer vision program, which (1) identifies the midpoint of my right thigh, as the go-to spot in the emergency of an anaphylactic shock, (2) marks the relevant bodily landmark with a green spot, and (3) drives a 2-axis motion control system (not tracking any laser marking yet). (This is iteration #1, hence the low FPS, bulky mechanics, etc.).
