Silent Night 南加州中國國樂團

在聖誕平安夜，南加州中國國樂團的七位團員——二胡：劉揚、趙秋白、李文玲；琵琶：劉玉；揚琴：朱穆；大阮：崔雅瑞；笛子：范凱倫——應核桃市成立60週年的核桃聯合衛理教會之邀，在教會一年一度的聖誕平安夜燭光禮拜中進行演出。他們共演奏了12首聖誕音樂，包括前奏曲和後奏曲，並在牧師祝福與禱告結束後，與教會司琴合奏了《O Holy Night》（聖善夜），為整場禮拜畫下溫馨、完美的句點。
On Christmas Eve, the Chinese Music Association of Southern California was invited to perform at the Walnut United Methodist Church’s annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, commemorating the church’s 60th anniversary. Seven orchestra members—Erhu: Yang Liu, Qiubai Zhao, Landy Lee; Pipa: Yu Liu; Yangqin: Mu Zhu; Daruan: Yari Cui; and Dizi: Kailun Fan—performed 12 Christmas musical pieces, including prelude and postlude selections. The evening concluded with a heartfelt rendition of O Holy Night performed alongside the church pianist, following the pastor’s blessings and prayers.
