Whiplash tells the story of an ambitious young drummer, Andrew, studying at an elite jazz conservatory in New York City, and his ruthless instructor, Fletcher, who pushes Andrew to the brink in the pursuit of greatness.
The show features a 18-piece jazz big band led by composer Justin Hurwitz, and features a world-class drummer who travels with the show. Let yourself be carried away by the incredible music and thrilling drum solos performed in perfect synchronisation with the film projected on the big screen!
Like the film’s protagonist, the drummer will have the difficult task of following every movement of the conductor with total precision, capturing the intensity of the film in a live concert experience.
