Day 2 of our 7 days on Jasper’s South Boundary Trail featured a valley walk through the Medicine Tent River valley before climbing up to Cairn (Southesk) Pass, the highest point on the South Boundary Trail, and then down to the Cairn Pass hiker-horse camp. We had great weather this day, saw no one, came across multiple signs of bear activity, and enjoyed a nice campsite below Cairn Pass.
