GB BUCK 2019 “Razor”— WYO RANCH HORSE SALE 2026

We have made the hard decision to offer Razor to the public. Anybody that knows us; knows Razor. Razor has been Cody’s go-to rodeo horse for all the ranch rodeos & team ropings for several years now. This horse has more resume than most people from being a completely solid ranch horse from everything spring and fall works- TONS of brandings, calving, and pushing cows up a tub; catching & leading wild cattle, picking up bucking horses for a season, starting colts, cow camps in the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, & Montana- he will go the nasty horrible places and take great care of his feet in the terrain, doctored yearlings on wheat in Texas, carried flags in the grand entries of rodeos, & he is a JAM UP ranch rodeo horse. Razor took home the Top Horse award helping the boys win the rodeo in 2024 at the Black Hills Roundup ranch rodeo in Belle Fourche, SD. Razor would excel in some ranch horse shows because he boxes a cow so pretty & will religiously go stop one on the fence, as well as tracks amazing to rope on & has the biggest stop & knows his job when you sit down. Because of that, he would also excel as a calf or breakaway horse. He’s doctored so many yearlings that Razor could also excel as a steer tripping horse. Razor is the coolest prospect to go on with in the arena but he is also a “cowboss’s horse.” He catches everybody’s attention and does the COOL things like the boss should ride on the ranch.
Whistle when you walk out and he’ll meet you at the gate, very gentle to be around on the ground, has all the manners- great to shoe, tie, lead, load, bathe, hobble broke, gets along well with any other horses, eats well on the road, just solid to be around.
Razors ONLY quirk is that he can have a hump in his back when fresh- he does not do anything about it besides be tight for a minute. We have tested it in every way and that’s just his quirk but absolutely not a bronc or bad in any way. Because of that, he would do best going to someone who will use him consistently.
It will be incredibly hard to say goodbye to Razor, we love this horse but life has called for us to make those choices so somebody new will get a really cool broke horse in America’s favorite color.
