In this IMF Summer School session on the Virtual Training to Advance Revenue Administration: Institutional Governance (VITARA-IGO) course, IMF economists will introduce how adequate institutional governance can promote transparency and accountability and reduce the tax administration’s vulnerability to corruption.
We have an online course available that covers this topic in more detail. The course is a joint initiative of four international organizations: Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), Intra-European Organisation of Tax Administrations (IOTA), International Monetary Fund (IMF), and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
This course was funded by the IMF's Revenue Mobilization Thematic Fund (RMTF).
