Razor's Edge Day 2 Ayane (OG Run)

Ayane is an absolute UNIT in Razor's Edge! She has the ability to instant OT enemies with her (hold) heavy attack, and she slices off limbs with ease. So much fun! In this chapter of my "OG" run, I stuck with no combat upgrades until I got to the first save point. Not really advisable, but I pulled it off. The section directly after with the dogs and van gelfs is fairly difficult, but I think the smart move is to take out the dogs as quickly as possible while being aware of the rocket guys in the back of the truck. The dogs love to hide behind the van gelf and spring at you through its legs to catch you off guard. Clever pups! A simple air launch combo with a delayed light attack finisher is usually enough to take out each dog and also clear the ground each time Ayane slams back down. I didn't put in a ton of time on the TOV, but I managed to gain a fair amount of Karma points, so I decided to move on pretty quickly. I know I could've gotten through it if I'd spent more time. Finally, at the "boss" of the chapter, the three sword alchemists, the normal strategy is to UT them to take them down fairly easily; however, I decided I wanted to fight them fair and square... mistake?! It was tough, but I figured out a pretty consistent way to launch them with Ayane's (L,L,F+L,H) combo after stunning them with a well timed wind path to jump off their heads or a perfectly placed slide. It doesn't work EVERY time, and these guys will spam plasma balls at you like madmen, so it took quite a few tries to finally finish them all off without using a single Ultimate Technique. You want to try and wait until there aren't too many projectiles around before you go for the launch combo because they will damage you and stop you in your tracks. Also, when they are grouped tightly together, it's best to try and spread them back out some to give yourself more room to work. Now, back to Ryu for Day 3!

Oh, and if the music is too much, or it's too loud, let me know. I thought it went well with the gameplay, but it kind of overpowers the sound of the game a bit. I can always reupload it with lowered volume, the game soundtrack, or no music at all if that's preferred. I appreciate any feedback, good or bad!
