I stumbled upon this super rare Les Baer pistol in a local gun shop a month ago and had to have it! This beautiful 1911 is #26 of only 65 ever made and was sold in 2017.
It was purchased by a local collector and never fired. When he passed away recently, it was taken to a local gun shop along with many other fine firearms to be sold on commission. It was literally a brand new pistol from eight years ago.
I got a great deal on it and struggled with the decision on whether or not to actually shoot it. I have owned dozens of pistols over the years and this is the rarest, nicest, and most expensive one, ever.
I shot it. In the rain.
And then I added beautiful aftermarket cocobolo grips by Exotic Grips by Esmeralda.
