All the tries from the National 2 South clash between struggling Southend and the visiting Cornishmen, which Redruth won 15-22.
Two tries from Tom Duncan and one from Craig Bonds were enough for the victory but not the bonus point on a cold floodlit evening in December. After a topsy-turvy first half the game petered out in the second after a great defensive effort from the Cornish side, hence the dearth of action after the restart, but there's an extra treat after the credits for anyone who likes watching young men grappling each other in the mud...!
