Contrast Filter Comparison

It’s easy to get confused by the internet when trying to figure out if your contrast filters would be better for your printing than a color head, or maybe you should get deep green and blue instead. In this video I compare the Ilford Multigrade filters to Kodak Polycontrast filters, to a dichroic color head, to a 58 green and 47B blue filter. Is there a difference? Will one set give me more contrast control than the other? Let’s find out…
