Hatta is an exclave of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, high in the Hajar Mountains. The restored, centuries-old Hatta Heritage Village features a defensive tower, stone houses with palm-frond roofs, and falaj, the traditional water system. Other exhibits include traditional weapons, furniture and crockery. At the nearby Hatta Dam, the Hatta Reservoir Visitor Point overlooks the pools of striking green water.

Hatta Dam in Dubai is a popular mountain escape known for its turquoise water, rugged Hajar mountain scenery, and outdoor adventure activities such as kayaking, hiking, and biking. It lies in the Hatta region near the Oman border, around 90–130 km from central Dubai, and is a favored weekend spot for families and nature lovers.

Hatta Dam is located in the Hajar Mountains in the exclave of Hatta, part of the Emirate of Dubai. It is roughly a 90‑minute to 1.5‑hour drive from Dubai via routes such as E44 or E102, passing through desert and mountain landscapes.​
Visitors can reach Hatta by private car, taxi, or a combination of RTA bus and taxi from Dubai, with the road clearly signposted towards Hatta and the dam area.
