Seeking the season's first snow brought us to Summersville, West Virginia. A town of less than 3.500 residents. The summer recreational activities look amazing just as the wonderous natural sites. West Virginia seems to be one of those "sleeper" areas with an amazing abundance of natural beauty, from mountains, cliffs and waterways. We will definitely go back when the warmer weather rolls around.
If you are 3-4 hours away from West Virginia, we encourage you to take day trips - or stay over a couple days. There are so many beautiful, natural wonders.
