On August 23rd, 2025, the New Mill Male Voice Choir turned up the heat with their annual Caribbean Night, a vibrant celebration of music, food, and community spirit!
Now in its second year, this special evening brought together people from across New Mill and beyond to share in the joy of Caribbean culture. With Mash It Up Band’s infectious rhythms filling the air, guests enjoyed a fusion of Caribbean beats, soulful choir performances, and traditional folk music, all while sampling authentic Caribbean cuisine.
This event, inspired by choir member Rocky Joseph, is more than just a concert; it’s a fusion of cultures. It’s about celebrating heritage, building community, and uniting through music.
As one guest put it: “We need to come together. There’s so much division in the world, but music can bring us together — anyone can appreciate music, and we can communicate through it.”
From heartfelt harmonies to joyful dancing, Caribbean Night 2025 was a night to remember, full of laughter, inclusivity, and togetherness.
