On the clear night of 30 Nov, 2025 the communities around Lake Cowichan got together for the annual Christmas Parade held in the town of Lake Cowichan. This well-attended event started adjacent to Saywell Park and continued onto South Shore Rd. all the way up to the centre of town where the public could shop and be entertained at the Christmas Night Market.
