The Robert Koch Colloquium (RKC) took place on May 19th and May 20th under the topic "Empowering Public Health: From Data to Global Health”. It brought together researchers and public health professionals. International experts were invited to present and discuss diverse topics related to data generation, data application and usage and the international exchange of data.
The first day featured the following talks:

• 03:55 Henrik Ullum (Danish Statens Serum Institut): „Digitalization and Health Data: The Value for Pandemic Preparedness. A Case Study from Denmark.”
• 58:00: Mirja Mittermaier (Berlin Institute of Health at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin): “Bias in Public Health Data”
• 01:49:15: Julika Loss (Robert Koch-Institut): “Using Sensor-Based Data from Wearable Devices in Health Monitoring”
• 02:29:11: Sebastian Funk (The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine): “Modeling Infectious Disease Dynamics of Emerging Threats and Epidemics”
