Kruger being our neighbours, a morning stroll always offers nice viewings. So we ran into this little family with the cutests baby wharthog, that could not be much older then 4 weeks. Aren't they addorable. The Africaans name = wrattenzwijn. They get there name from the wharts on their face which are actually not wharts but some kind of cushions to protect themselves during fighting. They sleep in holes they steel from other animals and the mom normally gets 1-8 piglets but can only feed a maximum of 4 so only 3-4 normally survive.
